OUR STANCE ON RACISM

We want to make it plain and clear: We stand against racism! Racism has no place in our society and we have a responsibility not only to condemn discriminatory behavior, but also to take action to support inclusion for all. We stand with those who stand against violence of any kind, especially recent racially motivated violence. We stand in opposition to any actions that silence change and progress, as well as those actions that impede and interfere with mutual respect and dignity. We join you in rage at injustice and racism, in mourning for loved ones lost, and in commitment to building a society that honors its constitutional obligation to respect the humanity of all people regardless of race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. We encourage everyone to speak up in the face of injustice, combat and dismantle racism and discrimination in all its forms and denounce race-related violence, including police brutality.
